Ad-Hoc Industry Natural Resource Management Group

The Ad-Hoc Industry Natural Resource Management Group, founded in 1988, is a coalition of multinational companies, in every industry sector, uniquely focused on the interface between natural resources (air, water, species, land) and diverse energy, transportation and industrial activities. Established in 1961, the Environmental Law Institute (ELI) is a non-partisan research and education center working to strengthen environmental protection by improving law and governance worldwide. ELI’s Vision is “a healthy environment, prosperous economies, and vibrant communities founded on the rule of law.” Its Mission is to foster innovative, just, and practical law and policy solutions to enable leaders across borders and sectors to make environmental, economic, and social progress.  ELI provides insightful and impartial analysis to opinion makers, including government officials, environmental and business leaders, academics, members of the environmental bar, and journalists. The George Washington University’s Environmental and Energy Management Institute (EEMI) was chartered as a University-wide institute in 2015 to advance human knowledge applicable to pragmatic, implementable, non-regulatory, next generation self-governance solutions that are primarily focused on national and international standards for environmental, energy, and sustainability management.
